John brings extensive financial experience from both the retail and manufacturing sectors, along with a proven track record of developing strong and efficient business models that align with the company’s financial strategy and support long-term success. Before joining The Children’s Place, John served as CFO at Vince Holding Corp. He also had a lengthy tenure at Ralph Lauren Corporation, where he advanced through various roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as CFO for Global Supply Chain, Brands, and the Lifestyle Group. John holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University.\r\n
\r\nChief Technology, Logistics & Stores Officer
\r\n\r\n Rajat joined The Children's Place in 2017 as Head of Digital and\r\n Store Technology. In 2019 he was promoted to lead all of IT and is\r\n responsible for leading enterprise transformation including defining\r\n and implementing a multi-year technology strategy, maximizing\r\n ecommerce and omnichannel capabilities, managing information\r\n security and IT risk, and providing business support services. Rajat\r\n has since assumed an expanded leadership role with oversight for\r\n Global Logistics & Distribution and Stores in addition to IT.\r\n Rajat brings a wealth of experience across multiple retail\r\n organizations gained in his prior position as the Retail Technology\r\n Leader at SapientRazorfish. Kristin leads sourcing initiatives and manages teams of sourcing professionals in developing costing strategies to meet the company’s financial targets by collaborating with external partners to produce high-quality merchandise that is brand-consistent and competitively priced. Previously, Kristin worked at The Children’s Place from 2013 to 2020, where she held various roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately rising to the position of Vice President of Global Sourcing. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice President of Sourcing at Vineyard Vines. Additionally, Kristin has held key leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing at Juicy Couture and Vice President of Corporate Sourcing Operations at Liz Claiborne. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Belmont Abbey College.\r\n

Smeeta brings over two decades of marketing experience with beauty, CPG, and retail brands, working at Fortune 500 companies. In her last role, she served as the VP Marketing for Crocs, Inc., where she led marketing for North America and Brazil. Prior to that, she worked at Avon cosmetics, Nestle, and Danone. \r\n\n Mr. AlRajhi serves as the Executive Chairman of the Board of the Company. He is also the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Mithaq Holding Company and Managing Director of Mithaq Capital SPC. In these roles, he is responsible for drafting and executing the overall strategy, which includes making the capital allocation decisions and the selection and compensation of senior executives. Mr. AlRajhi holds a Bachelor of Finance and Banking from Dar Al Uloom University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and completed the Value Investing Program from Columbia Business School in the United States of America. Prior to his appointment as President and\n Interim Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Umair was a Senior Advisor\n for Origin Funding Partners, a global trade finance fund, where he\n was responsible for credit, recovery, and due diligence. Prior to\n joining Origin Funding Partners, Mr. Umair held positions in\n various organizations, including Head of Advisory at Armacom and\n Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young. He is a Chartered Accountant\n and associate member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of\n Pakistan and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and\n Wales. Mr. Umair has more than 17 years of financial and\n commercial experience, including investment management, corporate\n advisory, operational and financial due diligence and audit.\n
\n\n John joined The Children’s Place in 2025 as the Chief Financial Officer. In this role, he oversees all Finance functions, including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit, with additional oversight responsibilities of Real Estate and Investor Relations. John brings extensive financial experience from both the retail and manufacturing sectors, along with a proven track record of developing strong and efficient business models that align with the company’s financial strategy and support long-term success. Before joining The Children’s Place, John served as CFO at Vince Holding Corp. He also had a lengthy tenure at Ralph Lauren Corporation, where he advanced through various roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his appointment as CFO for Global Supply Chain, Brands, and the Lifestyle Group. John holds a Master of Science in Finance from Boston College’s Carroll School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Fordham University.\n
\n\n Rajat joined The Children's Place in 2017 as Head of\n Digital and Store Technology. In 2019 he was promoted to\n lead all of IT and is responsible for leading enterprise\n transformation including defining and implementing a\n multi-year technology strategy, maximizing ecommerce and\n omnichannel capabilities, managing information security\n and IT risk, and providing business support services.\n Rajat has since assumed an expanded leadership role with\n oversight for Global Logistics & Distribution and\n Stores in addition to IT. Rajat brings a wealth of\n experience across multiple retail organizations gained in\n his prior position as the Retail Technology Leader at\n SapientRazorfish. Prior to that he worked in information\n security at SafeNet Inc. and telecommunications at Hughes\n Software Systems. Rajat holds a Bachelor’s degree in\n Information Technology from Delhi University and a Masters\n of Business Administration in Information Systems from the\n Institute of Management Technology.\n
\n\n Claudia rejoined The Children’s Place in 2024 as Brand\n President. In her prior tenure at The Children’s Place\n from 2014 to 2023, Claudia served in roles of increasing\n responsibility, most recently as Senior Vice President,\n Global Merchandising and Strategic Partnerships, a role in\n which she was responsible for creating and delivering\n product strategies for all brands across multiple channels\n of distribution, as well as leading operations for\n wholesale and international franchise businesses. Claudia\n most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief\n Merchandising Officer of Claire's Holdings LLC. Prior to\n that, she was Director of International Merchandising for\n Destination Maternity from 2011 until 2014 and held roles\n across merchandising and product design functions at Zara,\n Camuto Group, Ralph Lauren and Fifth & Pacific\n Companies. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing\n from New York University and her SIPA Master of Business\n Administration from Columbia University.\n
\n\n Jared Shure joined The Children's Place in 2018 as Vice\n President, Assistant General Counsel and has assumed roles\n of increasing responsibility culminating in his\n appointment to the role of Senior Vice President, General\n Counsel in 2021 and Chief Administrative Officer in 2024.\n In his current role, Jared leads all areas of the Legal\n and Human Resources teams including Board Governance and\n Administration, and oversees Responsible Sourcing and\n Enterprise Risk. Jared attained his Bachelor of Science in\n Business Administration from the University of North\n Carolina at Chapel Hill and his Juris Doctorate from\n Cornell Law School.\n
\n\n Jennifer Groves joined The Children's Place in 2014. She\n leads global product design for our brands. Her 25 years\n of creative design experience determines the brand’s\n seasonal color, concept, and overall aesthetic. Prior to\n joining The Children’s Place, she held Senior Vice\n President roles at Aeropostale and Gap Kids & Baby.\n She also held design roles of increasing responsibility at\n Abercrombie & Fitch, Guess and Bebe Stores. Jennifer\n earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design from\n Parsons School of Design.\n
\n\n Kristin rejoined The Children’s Place in 2025 as the Senior Vice President, Head of Global Sourcing. Kristin leads sourcing initiatives and manages teams of sourcing professionals in developing costing strategies to meet the company’s financial targets by collaborating with external partners to produce high-quality merchandise that is brand-consistent and competitively priced. Previously, Kristin worked at The Children’s Place from 2013 to 2020, where she held various roles of increasing responsibility, ultimately rising to the position of Vice President of Global Sourcing. Most recently, she served as the Senior Vice President of Sourcing at Vineyard Vines. Additionally, Kristin has held key leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing at Juicy Couture and Vice President of Corporate Sourcing Operations at Liz Claiborne. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from Belmont Abbey College.\n
\n\n Smeeta joined The Children’s Place in 2025 as the Senior Vice President, Head of Marketing. Smeeta leads global brand and commercial marketing teams across all brands with the goal of elevating brand positioning, relevance, and driving growth across all channels. Smeeta brings over two decades of marketing experience with beauty, CPG, and retail brands, working at Fortune 500 companies. In her last role, she served as the VP Marketing for Crocs, Inc., where she led marketing for North America and Brazil. Prior to that, she worked at Avon cosmetics, Nestle, and Danone. She holds two Master's degrees, MA in Consumer Behavior from Michigan State University, and MBA from the Institute for Technology and Management, India. \n
\n\n Laura joined The Children’s Place in 2024 as Chief Accounting Officer. Laura oversees all accounting operations, including treasury and financial reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations, managing the accounting department, and providing financial insights to support decision-making within the organization. Prior to joining, Laura was Senior Vice President/Corporate Controller and the principal accounting officer at Capri Holdings Limited (formerly Michael Kors Holdings Limited). Laura earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Marymount Manhattan College and is a Certified Public Accountant.\n
\n\n Philip joined The Children’s Place in 2024 as GVP, Head of Real Estate. Philip leads all real estate strategy and asset management, including acquisition, development, and leasing. Prior to joining, Philip served as President and Founder of Ende Real Estate Advisors, a real estate consulting firm. Prior to that, he worked at Simon Property Group holding roles of increasing responsibility, culminating in his position as Senior Vice President – Leasing Premium Outlets. Philip earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Florida. \n
